Our VB WRX is headed to the Mount Washington Hill Climb

The Mount Washington Hill Climb was first run in 1904, and it pre-dates even the Indianapolis 500 and Pikes Peak Hill Climb.

We have been running up Pikes Peak for more than 10 years now in our 2014 WRX STI, and when our driver, Scott Crouch, heard that Mount Washington was going to be running in 2026, and that the road was fully paved now, he immediately signed up.

This threw us a curve ball though because we discovered that our Pikes Peak Hill Climb car wouldn't meet the Mount Washington Tech requirements, so we had to find another option.

Conveniently, we had been planning to turn our 2024 WRX into a Rally car which would meet the tech specs that we needed, and we might just be able to get it finished and running in time for the Climb to the Clouds.

So that is what we set out to do.

Here is the latest update on our 2024 VB WRX as it heads off to compete in the 2026 Climb to the Clouds!

Thanks for watching and Stay Tuned!
