Shipping, Warranties, and Returns

Disclaimer of Warranties

Any warranties on the products sold hereby are those made by the manufacturer. The Seller, Flatirons Imports, hereby expressly disclaims all warranties, either expressed or implied, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, and Flatirons Imports neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any liability in connection with the sale of said products.

Returns

Flatirons Tuning must be notified of any damage, with pictures, within 24 hours of receiving your parts.  You must also keep all boxes and packaging in order for a claim to be filed.  If you fail to notify Flatirons Tuning in this time, or if you do not have all of the original boxes and packaging, no claim can be filed on your behalf.

NOTE:

  • All electrical and special ordered parts sales are final.
  • No refunds or credits on any parts having evidence of being installed or used for testing. Once a part is installed, regardless of the circumstances, it is not returnable. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you contact us with any questions before you attempt to install a part.
  • No refunds without invoice or receipt.
  • All returned parts must be packed in a larger box with sufficient packing material to protect them. Any returned part must be shipped back with the same packing and protection as it was shipped. If it is not, the return may not be processed.
  • There is a 3.5% fee for canceled orders (orders that are canceled before they ship). This is because the fees charged by Credit Card providers are not returned on refunds.
  • A 20% restocking fee will be charged on any returned items, and shipping will not be refunded if the shipper is not able to deliver your order.
  • Returns will not be accepted after 30 days past the date of delivery.

Shipping

We will do our best to ship to whatever address you specify, and in the manner that you select. However, if this is your first purchase with us, we will only ship your order to the billing address of the credit card used to place your order.

We do require that all international orders are processed through Pay-Pal.

Please ensure that your email address is correct at checkout as this is our primary method of communication regarding any order updates.

Flat-Rate Shipping: Your order may take an additional 2 - 4 days to process your order so that we can ship your order to you in the fewest number of boxes.  If you pay for ground shipping, we will do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible, but please contact us before placing your order if it is time-sensitive.

On express orders, please be aware that the shipping method you select is the method that we will use to ship you your parts, but all orders will take between 24 - 48 hours to process.  If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us via Live Chat to make sure that the parts that you order will be available in the timeframe you need them before placing the order. We will always do our best to get orders out as quickly as possible, but our on-hand inventory is always changing as orders come in so we do strongly recommend contacting us if you need any parts in a very short timeframe.

International Orders

All International orders must be paid for with Pay Pal.

Because all International orders will have to go through some form of Customs, the shipping time may end up taking longer than expected.

The Flatirons Tuning site will only calculate the shipping amount for your order. The Customer is responsible for any Duties, Taxes, or VAT fees which will be an additional charge added by the shipping carrier. In the case that an International order is refused, the cost of the Duties and Taxes will be added to restocking fee because we have to pay them in order to get the product returned.

In Store Pickup

If you select "In Store Pickup" we will hold your order for 30 days once we e-mail you that it is ready. After that time, we will treat your order as a return, and your order will be refunded, less the standard 20% restocking fee.
