2024 Repco Bathurst 12 Hour Endurance Race

If you were going to race around Mount Panorama, which would you like to do least?

Race at night?

Race in the rain?

Or would you love to do either option if you had a chance?

The 2024 Repco Bathurst 12 Hour race was held last weekend, and if you weren't able to catch any part of the event live, it is absolutely worth checking it out. The field of this race is made up of mostly GT3, GT4, and GT World Challenge cars, all of which are closely matched which made for some great racing.

The race started in the early morning, and the drivers got to run through Sunrise, and then rain came into the picture.

For most of us, we are only familiar with this course from video games like Gran Turismo, and I can say from my experience that this started out as one of my least favorite tracks because of how technical it is. I can only imagine what it is like to actually race around the circuit at speed, much less in the rain. After watching how this race unfolded, I have added watching this race in person to my bucket list.

There is just something about this type of Sports Car racing that is not like anything else, and if you have a few minutes this weekend, I would highly recommend checking out this race.

And maybe some Australian Supercars races too.
