The RCM Black Series thermostatically controlled sandwich plate has been specifically and uniquely designed and manufactured around the EJ Subaru engine. Designed in house and drawing on our 30 years of Subaru experience, the sandwich plate fits perfectly around the timing belt covers allowing plenty of room for the oil lines.
The integral thermostat opens at 70 Deg C, allowing ample time for engine temperatures to reach sufficient levels before additional oil cooling is required.
The sandwich plate is supplied with both Dash 8 & Dash 10 fittings giving you total flexibility on how you install your oil cooler adapter. We also supply in stainless steel the main oil cooler bolt as well as the cylinder block male/male adapter.
