A key concern with any Subaru EJ engine, which has been tuned for performance or race use, is that of a reliable oil supply. A Dry Sump Sytem can offer levels of safety and reliability which cannot be achieved when utilsing the factory wet sump configuration.
The RCM system completely scavenges the crankcase, which dramatically reduces the excess / residual oil which can cause blow by and consequent power loss associated with this.
**Currently, there is not an option for tank and lines to be used for this kit on Left-Hand Drive cars, so you will have to source or fabricate a tank and lines yourself.
**Professional installation is very strongly recommended.

In addition to this, the dry sump system can deliver a far more consistent oil pressure to the engine, eliminating the oil starvation issues which are associated with the flat 4 boxer type engine configuration. In addition to this the increased vacuum in the crankcase and pan improves the ring to bore sealing properties.
Currently, there is not an option for tank and lines to be used for this kit on Left-Hand Drive cars, so you will have to source or fabricate a tank and lines yourself. Professional installation is very strongly recommended.
Because this kit completely modifies/changes the way that oil is delivered to your engine, it is only recommend for purpose built track cars.
Please also note that this kit comes with a water pump because it is not possible to run an OEM oil cooler with this Dry Sump Kit. The pump that is included removed the fitting that goes to the cooler itself, but it will also be necessary to remove the cooler, and the lines that go from the cooler to the block, and you should then plug the coolant fitting on the block as well.
