The PTP Fiberglass Exhaust Wrap are woven from highly texturized DE glass yarns and treated with an over-spray process to preserve the texturized weave in fabrication and use. The exhaust wrap is then treated with a proprietary vermiculite coating for improved temperature resistance and abrasion resistance. Our fiberglass tapes and high temperature coatings are made from inorganic material.

Our fiberglass tapes and high temperature coatings are made from inorganic materials, so they will not produce hazardous out-gassing.

The benefits of wrapping exhaust systems is hotter exhaust gases that exit the system faster through decreased density. Increased exhaust scavenging is produced, along with lower under hood (as much as 50 percent) and intake temperatures.

PTP's Fiberglass Exhaust Wrap is oil resistance and supports operating temperatures up to 1200°F with peak temperatures of 1500°F.
