The factory charge pipe on the FA24DIT WRX, Outback XT, Legacy XT, and Ascent runs bulbous molded plastic from the turbo outlet to the intercooler, over-engineered to mask engine noise rather than prioritize performance. The whole path looks unfinished under the hood and muffles the turbo from one end to the other. The OVERTAKE FA24 Intercooler Charge Pipe Full Kit replaces every section with mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum tubing, a machined turbo adapter that reuses the OEM retention clip, and a cast aluminum intercooler elbow. Solid aluminum carries the sound the plastic kills, so the turbo comes through clean end to end. Bolts up to OEM and most aftermarket top-mount intercoolers. No tune required.
