Over time, factory rubber bushings compress and degrade, allowing unwanted movement in the shifter linkage. This results in excess play and less precise gear engagement. By replacing these worn components with higher durometer polyurethane bushings, this kit dramatically reduces shifter slop and restores the crisp, mechanical feel your STI should have.

The GrimmSpeed kit includes both front and rear shifter bushings, so the entire assembly benefits from improved stability. The front bushings feature a firmer 90A durometer polyurethane compound to improve rigidity and reduce flex, while the rear bushing utilizes an 80A compound that balances firmness with everyday drivability.

To ensure durability and long service life, the bushings feature precision machined 304 stainless steel inserts that help distribute load while resisting corrosion. Zinc coated hardware is included for a reliable installation and long-term performance.
