COBB Intake Tube (2019+ Ascent)

The COBB Intake Tube for your 2019+ Subaru Ascent maximizes airflow potential while retaining the factory airbox. Since Subaru has chosen to integrate a hydrocarbon trap into the factory airbox it must remain as it is a federally mandated emissions component. This intake tube is designed to fit between the factory airbox and turbocharger inlet.

The 3" mandrel bent aluminum construction means that airflow is unrestricted as it is summoned from the airbox to turbocharger inlet. A wrinkle black powder coated finish both protects the tubing and provides a classy aesthetic. Black 5-ply silicone couplers are held in place with included clamps for a leak free installation.

Maximize airflow potential of your 2019+ Subaru Ascent with the COBB Intake Tube. Replacing the factory intake tube removes corrugated sections that can cause turbulence in airflow leading into the turbocharger. Factory materials are also prone to cracking over time as they are continuously heat cycled.

This part is legal under the provisions of EPA’s Anti-Tampering Policy. COBB Tuning has established a reasonable basis (testing results) to verify that this product allows the vehicle to operate within legal emissions standards and is therefore legal to be sold for on-street use in all states that accept the legal provisions of the Clean Air Act and EPA’s Anti-Tampering Policy.

Testing with the California Air Resources Board, in order to achieve 50-state compliance, is pending. Once testing is complete with California, and an EO number is issued, this product will be updated to 50-state legal status.
