Subaru OEM Oil Cooler Connector Post (02-05 WRX, 04-21 STI, 05-09 LGT & OBXT)
This is the post which both holds on the oil cooler to the block, as well as has the receiver threads for your oil filter. It is sometimes necessary if you are either switching to the other style cooler, or simply need to replace the one you have.
