This is the OEM Main Shaft, and 1^st through 4^th gear that came in the 5-Speed manual transmission in the 2005 – 2008 Legacy GT.

The Gear ratio’s of this transmission were:

1^st:  3.166

2^nd:  1.882

3^rd:  1.296

4^th:  0.972

5^th:  0.738

This set is available with either the Main Shaft and 1^st and 2^nd gear, or the Main Shaft and 1^st through 4^th gear.  This gear set can be retrofitted into most Subaru 5-speed gear sets, but depending on the year of your transmission, you would need additional parts.

All of the install kits include a new speedometer gear, but WRX's with a 3.7 final drive will have a slight speedometer discrepancy.

Professional installation is very strongly recommended. If this gear set goes into any car other than it was originally designed for by Subaru, there is no warranty for strength expressed or implied.

Also, because of the number of issues that can arise due to improper installation, if we do not install this gear set for you, there is no parts warranty.
