Running without a turbo heat shield can increase underhood temperatures and unnecessarily heat your top-mount intercooler. We highly recommend you either trim your factory shield (free) or purchase Cobb's shield rather than running with no heat shield at all.

Designed to replace the factory turbo heat shield, Cobb's Stainless Steel replacement is an ideal replacement particularly when installing aftermarket downpipes. The factory turbo heat shield does not fit when installing most bellmouth or divorced downpipe designs without trimming. Cobb's SS Heat Shield is specifically designed to retain the function of the factory heat shield while still fitting over all aftermarket downpipe designs.
