This Access Port will initially support the 2008 WRX (with manual transmission), and 2007 - 2008 Legacy GT (with Automatic, 5-Speed Manual, and 6-Speed manual).
There will be a firmware Up-Date available early in 2008 to support the 2007 - 2008 Forester XT (both manual and Automatic), the 2008 WRX Automatic, and the 2008 STI.
The AccessPORT by COBB Tuning, Inc. is a handheld programmer that allows you to unlock your vehicle's hidden potential by reprogramming the stock Engine Control Unit (ECU).
With a short and guided installation process you can upgrade the ECU in your car from stock to one of Cobb’s performance oriented tuning maps. The unit uses the OBD-2 diagnostic port, and requires no cutting, wiring, or other such modifications, simply plug-and-play.
