With large oil windows for increased flow and Cusco's original groove cut technology for improved efficiency on the clutch plates, stability and longevity is promoted. All Cusco LSD's feature coil springs rather than cone plates help promote faster, smoother engagement, along with higher durability. They are also available in 3 different configurations to allow you to optomize your car's set up.
The 1-way Type RS utilizes coil springs located between the pressure rings to develop initial torque and features full engagement only during acceleration.
The 1.5-way Type RS utilizes coil springs located between the pressure rings to develop initial torque and features full engagement during acceleration and partially under deceleration.
The 2-way Type RS utilizes coil springs located between the pressure rings to develop initial torque and features full engagement during acceleration and deceleration.
All Cusco LSD's come set at 100% lock when engaged, but they can be reconfigured to 80% or in some cases 60 % lock if desired. If you would like your LSD set up differently, please not it on your order.
