Spoon developed their strut tower bars to increase the stiffness of the cars chassis by connecting the strut-tops in order to prevent deflection of the frame.  This increase in stiffness dramatically improves both handling and steering characteristics.  Installation requires only simple hand tools, but may require moving some of hoses.
