These are brand new, blank OEM EJ257 Heads straight from Subaru. Repairing an engine failure? Building an engine from scratch with your own internals and valvetrain? This is a great option for you, since Subaru no longer offers fully assembled heads as a single part number. These do not contain valves, retainers, springs, cams, seals, gaskets, etc. This is just the blank head casings as pictured. We have also included the option to include the OEM valve covers in the kit for people building a motor from scratch.
