Whiteline Heavy Duty End Link Kits are designed to replace the relatively high compliance standard plastic/thin wire links found on Subaru Liberty, Legacy, Impreza and WRX, delivering more direct roll control. These are a must if you are upgrading to an aftermarket sway-bar, as they more efficiently transfer the tension provided by the sway bar back to the chassis. Also, stiffer sway bars increase stress on the endlinks, making you more likely to break a factory link. These Whiteline links are their newest design of OEM style sealed ball-joint endlinks. These have a spherical bearing in each end, but it is sealed like the OEM endlinks. The problem with the OEM design is that it is prone to failure near the ball joints under the increased load with an upgraded sway bar. Whiteline remedied this problem by going to an all-metal design, bringing the level of strength far above what is required for the application. Also, by having a sealed joint, the life expectancy of the endlink increases significantly over the Heim joint design. These links have an advantage over the Polyurethane bushing style endlinks as well, as they are length adjustable in the same way as the Heim joint links. 2002 - 2007 Subaru WRX and STi Sedan -- Front
