To produce this pump, Cosworth starts with the improved 11mm oil pump that comes standard in the 2008+ STi. This pump is the same pump used in the JDM / EDM STi's, which are rev-limited at 8k RPMs. This pump is also available on our website in unmodified OEM form. Cosworth then increases the spring tension in the pressure release valve.  This increases the amount of pressure that the pump is capable of producing, in addition to the increased volume that the 11mm pump rotor provides.
