Flatirons Tuning Ice Race - January 31 2009  E-mail this product to a friend previous | up | next  This summer, we had a few good track day's, but now the weather is starting to turn, and it is time to put the sticky tires up for the winter.   But that doesn't mean that you can't still head up to the track.  Due to popular request, we have teamed up with Our Gand Ice Racing to put on an Ice Racing event on Georgetown Lake on January 31st.   There will be open practice first thing in the morning, and we will split everyone up into two classes: Bare Rubber and Stud's.  Around the middle of the day, we will hold single elimination races in each class, and see who is the fastest.  After that, we will have practive for the rest of the day.   In order to make sure that everyone gets enough time on the lake, and we can get through all of our races, we are going to limit the field to 50 car's.   Because this will be held on a frozen lake, any vehicle is welcome, but it must be All-Wheel Drive, or 4-Wheel drive to go out on the ice.   The cost for this event will be $25.00 per car, and there will be a $5.00 Tech Inspection fee the day of the event.   Your registration for this event will register one car.  If you want to split the driving up between two driver's, you only need to register for one slot, but keep in mind that you will only get one entry into the elimination race.   To get an idea for the size of each class, you will have to pick either Bare Rubber or Studd's when you register.  If you want to change classes before the event, just send us an e-mail, and we will move you.   All registration's are final, and no refund's will be issued.     SKU: 1-31-ICE-RACE Price: $25.00
