It is normal for a turbocharged or supercharged car to build up pressure in its crankcase due to “blow-by”. In order to relieve this pressure, auto manufactures have designed a PCV, or “Positive Crankcase Ventilation” system. This routs this hot vapor of air and oil back into the intake track so that it can be burned and sent through the car’s catalytic converter. However, this oil vapor can build up, and cause carbon deposits in the engine, and reducing performance over time. Installing an oil catch can in the PCV system removes a majority of the oil vapor to keep the entire intake track clean and running more efficiently. Polished to a mirror finish with Cusco blue fittings and bracket, this kit is attractive and functional. The easy to read oil level indicator doubles as the drain tube, just use the quick disconnect fittings and drain the can. It bolts on in minutes using normal hand tools.
Mounting brackets are included.
Professional isntallation is recommended.
