This is the hood scoop off of the STi. It is approximately 1 inch taller than your factory hood scoop on a WRX model. This taller hood scoop is just what you need to get more air over your intercooler. If you have upgraded to a larger Top Mount Intercooler, we recommend this larger scoop to help it work more efficiently. The 2002 - 2003 (Bugeye) Scoop is off the JDM STi, and is not pictured, but looks very similar to the OEM scoop. It is an OEM part from Subaru Japan, brand new in the box. Availability on these can vary, as we have to order them directly from Japan. The 2002 - 2003 JDM STi Hood Scoop also fits the 2004 - 2008 Forester XT. The 2004 - 2005 Hood Scoop is the STi hood scoop out of the Subaru SPT Catalog for the WRX model. It is also an OEM replacement scoop for the STi models, and is the identical scoop that the STi receives from the factory. Both scoops come unpainted.
