Epic Engineering (HOA) developed their 3-Port Boost Control Solenoid as a direct replacement for the factory boost control solenoid on your Subaru, but designed it to be much more accurate than the stock unit. If have a larger turbo on your car, but are still using the factory solenoid, the Epic Engineering (HOA) Solenoid is better equipped to maintain boost levels by modulating the waste-gate, so you should see less boost drop in the higher RPM range. Even though this is a direct replacement for the factory solenoid, your waste-gate duty cycle will have to be tuned for the Epic Engineering Solenoid.
